There are a lot of reasons to be angry with other drivers. You can’t trust other drivers to be as safe or level-headed as yourself, and as a result, you can never be too careful. An Orlando, Florida, driver was able to capture the moment an impatient male Karen pulled up to a school security guard after having honked throughout the entire car line behind him. Fortunately, he messed with the wrong guard and got an earful for his behavior.
The above video was posted to the TikTok account @helpful_random_things, and features the outside of Pinecrest Avalon Elementary in Orlando, Florida, with a long drop-off/ pick-up line directly outside. The account typically posts random content, though it doesn’t do so very often, with a total of 14 videos that date all the way back to 2022. In the video, a black car can be seen driving up to a man wearing a reflective vest, who appears to be a security guard for the school.
According to the video, the man in the black vehicle had been honking throughout his time in the car line. At some point, he allegedly gets out of his car and begins to yell at various women also in the line. Fortunately, once it was his turn to be in front of the line, the guard standing there made sure his thoughts were heard.
Orlando School Security Guard Yells at Impatient Driver
You can faintly hear the guard yell at the black car, saying, “Call the police, call the sheriff, and have them come over here. You don’t honk the horn in front of my people.” Immediately after, the guard demands that they leave the area. In that same moment, a supposed father walks up to the black car to speak to the two men inside.
Commentators jumped into the replies to praise the guard for his actions and condemn the driver for his impatience. The very top comment even said, “That officer is looking out for those babies and that man needs a raise.”
At the end of the day, drivers need to respect school zones to avoid accidentally hitting anyone. While no one was injured as a result of the driver in the black vehicle’s impatience, they absolutely deserved to be yelled at. This is especially so since it is revealed in the comments that the driver wasn’t even a parent, but just a disgruntled elderly man.
