That’s what this person is experiencing in California, who lives near a Home Depot where an alarm was recently installed to scare away homeless people. The Redditor Revolutionary-Pop369 shared on r/legaladvice this problem that bothers them every night. OP explains that he lives in California in a house very close to a Home Depot, but the store recently installed an alarm to prevent the homeless from sleeping there. The problem is that the alarm consistently goes off every so often, and because of the proximity to OP’s house and the materials in the house, anyone can hear the alarm perfectly. Sometimes, even the alarm sounds during part of the day, and now that it is almost summer, OP leaves their window open, and it sounds even louder. OP already tried to talk to the store manager, and although the problem stopped for a few days, it’s active again, so he asked the other Redditors for advice.
