Xbox’s Bethesda has finally announced the release date of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for Sony’s PlayStation 5 through a crossover trailer that has the Uncharted series’ voice actor, Nolan North.
The PlayStation 5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will come out on April 17, 2025, only three months after the release date of the original on Microsoft’s own consoles, the Xbox Series S|X.
The trailer (which you can see above) features Troy Baker, the voice actor for Indy in the game (who does a fairly convincing impression for the most part) joined by Nolan North, as both of them banter away with one siding for Nathan Drank, while the other represents Indy.
North was part of the Uncharted series in all of its entries as the game’s lead and remained that way until the game’s last mainline entry in 2016, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
This doesn’t entirely come as a complete shock since back in August of last year, Microsoft had already announced that the game would eventually be coming to the competing console, much to the dismay of Xbox and Sony fans alike. Although as a product, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is great, it not being an exclusive defeats the purpose of owning an Xbox.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle enjoyed a few months of exclusivity while being available on Game Pass for Ultimate subscribers only. The company said in January of this year that Xbox and PC editions of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle had gotten a total of over 4 million players (combining both Xbox and PC numbers).
In our review of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, we gave it an 8.5 and called it a gorgeous action-adventure that stands with the best of the Indiana Jones franchise without pulling any punches.
