Sometimes, the funniest videos are the ones without any sort of context. There isn’t any fighting between entitled women or people being mean to fast food workers in these videos; just something strange that happened to be caught on camera. One of these videos was taken by an influencer interviewing an 80-year-old boomer on vacation in the Philippines. What the man talks about can only be heard to be believed. It’s good that the internet is an archive, and the video was posted to Reddit.
The video depicts an older boomer in Cebu City talking to an influencer about why he’s in the Philippines. Immediately after the video begins, the older man confesses to having eight girlfriends. He goes on to talk about how he’s able to do that because of the cultural difference, explaining that the woman there introduce their boyfriends to their friends and aren’t jealous if a sexual or romantic relationship is pursued.
Immediately after explaining to the influencer that the women only see him and don’t have any other boyfriends, he’s asked about his standard of living and how much he pays for rent in the city. He explains that he lives in a great area and compares it to expensive neighborhoods in Atlanta. It’s then that it becomes obvious that he’s become so blinded by the women who give him attention that he genuinely believes they only talk to and hang out with him.
Commenters in the replies immediately thought the same, and the reply with the most upvotes received an award from one of the /SipsTea subreddit’s moderators.

Despite being very obviously taken advantage of by the women he calls his girlfriends, he seems happy, and who am I to say that what he’s doing is wrong? The only thing I hope is that he makes sure his family back home doesn’t catch wind of this video!
