Another hysterical Florida man strikes again; this time, it’s a Jewish pro-Israel fanatic who mistook two Israeli tourists for Palestinians while they were traveling in Miami. 28-year-old Mordechai Brafman told police with a smile after being arrested that he “saw two Palestinians and shot and killed both” in a drive-by shooting. Both the tourists, a father and his son, were fortunately not severely injured and survived the attack. However, the irony here was that the victims of this anti-Palestinian shooting thought their killer was an Arab.
“Death to the Arabs,” the son wrote in a post to social media. He continued, believing the perpetrator to be an antisemitic fanatic: “My father and I went through a murder attempt against antisemitic background.” Speaking to Local 10 News, one of the victims stated that Brafman “was a truck passing next to [them].” Within moments, the Florida man “randomly started shooting” the two Israelis without any provocation. According to Brafman’s attorney, the anti-Palestinian shooter “was experiencing a severe mental health emergency” and will “appropriate and necessary treatment.”
“Palestinian isn’t a look. This is most definitely insane,” remarks a viewer on YouTube of the unbelievable news report. Plenty more commenters referred to this incident as a “hate crime” and called out the Jewish Florida man as nothing more than a disgusting “terrorist.” A user on X exclaimed, “This is what blind hatred gets you,” pointing out how ridiculous it was that Brafman thought his victims were Palestinians while they believed him to be an antisemitic Arab.
More on Reddit remark how absurd this whole situation is, not to mention it was a random attempt at second-degree murder. “That is absolutely wild. Not very often you hear of a shooting victim agreeing with the shooter’s reasoning for shooting them,” the top commenter says in disbelief. “The irony is off the charts. So full of hate,” chimed in another. “They could have been Cuban for all he knew,” inserted a third.
We can only hope this anti-Palestinian shooter gets the punishment he deserves, and it serves as an example to other radical extremists to perhaps think twice before performing an unthinkable hate crime.
