Elon Musk and Grimes might be able to put aside their custody battle and live as one big happy family. The exes have been in a contentious battle over their three children — son X Æ A-12, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, and son Techno Mechanicus — since September 2023. However, sources say the pair are looking to settle for an unconventional living arrangement that caters to not only their three kids but all of Musk’s 12 children.
An insider revealed to People Magazine that Musk and Grimes recently went house hunting in Bel Air. The exes are reportedly looking for a large enough property to house all of Musk’s kids and their mothers. Grimes was shown a home in Upper Bel Air. Despite the proposed joint living condition, the informant assured that it means nothing for Grimes and Musk’s romantic relationship. The duo called it quits in September 2021 when the tech mogul revealed in an interview that they were “semi-separated.” They have been on and off since then, even welcoming one more child, Techno, in 2022. However, the Canadian songstress has since moved on with DJ Anyma.
Apart from his three children with the Oblivion singer, Musk has nine kids from two other women. He shares six children — one of whom died in 2002 at 10 weeks old — with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson. The other three children come from his relationship with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. Zills announced the birth of their third child in June.
Grimes Shades Ex Elon Musk For Being A ‘Red Flag’
Reports on Musk and Grimes’ possible living situation come as a shock. Recently, the singer has made headlines for throwing jabs at her billionaire baby father. Earlier this week, the 36-year-old trolled the Space X founder, indirectly calling him a “red flag.” After singer Olivia Rodrigo revealed in an interview that one of her dating “red flags” is if a guy wants to go to space, Grimes supported the message. “It’s true. Only women should be going to space,” she seconded in an X post.
Weeks ago, the mother-of-three seemingly blamed the Tesla CEO for making her “less gay.” In a lengthy post shared on her ex’s platform, Grimes opened up about a post-pregnancy struggle. “I became way less gay after I was pregnant. My ability to focus on reading and writing went way up, as did my general creativity, but my ability to focus on technical things went *way* down. Is this all explained by hormones?” she asked. When a fan suggested Musk was the problem, writing, No, I think that’s just from being in a heterosexual relationship with a bigot bae,” Grimes replied, “I feel like that shud [sic] make me more gay tho.”
