Update 0.3.0 has arrived for Inside The Backrooms, and here are the patch notes regarding the changes that arrived. Inside The Backrooms doesn’t have significant content to play for hours and hours. Everything is the same in your every session; that’s why the game didn’t go so popular on Steam. But the game is adding a new level today, and that’s prominent. New Level – Terror Hotel
This level takes you through a spooky and mysterious hotel set in the 1920s, full of puzzles where you have to work together with other players to advance. Prepare to feel the tension as you explore every dark corner and face the terrifying entities that lurk in the hotel.
Are you ready to beat this challenging level? Enter level 5 of the backrooms and discover what horrors await you!
Important: To access this level, you have complete the sewer level. If you already completed it you don’t have to do it again.
New Entities
A giant moth has been spotted inside the backrooms, with another humanoid creature that wanders the terror hotel level.
You will have to face this new entity if you want to survive in the new level, but be careful, if you see one, is better to run immediately away!

- Easy difficulty complete achievement
- Normal difficulty complete achievement
- Hard difficulty complete achievement
- Achievement by completing the new level
- 3 New Cosmetics (You can unlock these cosmetics by completing the game in all the difficulties)
- New Item: Spray Can, with this you will able to paint in the walls to don’t get lost; every player will able to use it up to 10 times
- Added: “Film Grain” option to the settings menu
- Added: “Depth of Field” option to the settings menu
Improves
- The sewer map has been reworked, it keeps the same puzzles, but the map style has changed.
- Now you can rebind the move control keys (W,A,S,D)
- Fixed: Code to open the grid of the run for life level sometimes didn’t work
- Fixed: The petrol puzzle in the sewers sometimes removed two cans from the inventory after interacting with it.
- Fixed: Radiation spray smoke sometimes was not synced with the host
- Safebox puzzle now is easier to solve, now you don’t have to put the numbers backward
- Added new hint that shows the way to the respawn door
There are a good amount of changes for a game like Inside The Backrooms. Jokes aside, the game is pretty startling. We really wonder how the new map and other changes will impact the game experience. The game has good potential, and today’s update could be a life vest.
