After the longest wait for an Insidious movie, the trailer for The Red Door has arrived, giving us a look at the directorial debut of Patrick Wilson (seen below). The star reprises his role with Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins, and Andrew Astor to complete the returning Lambert family for more demons and scares.
The Insidious: The Red Door trailer gives us a look at the family a decade after the events of 2013’s second entry. The family’s secrets start to come to light with more hauntings after Josh (Wilson) takes Dalton (Simpkins) to college. They start to unpackage their secrets to find the answers they need to survive the demons that follow.
The upcoming horror flick will also star Hiam Abbass (Succession), Peter Dager (Demente Criminal), Mary Looram (Orange Is the New Black), and Sinclair Daniel (Bull).

Insidious: The Red Door trailer marks the fourth film to feature the Lambert family in the $555 million franchise. They were the center of the first two movies and made an appearance in 2018’s The Last Key. Both The Last Key and Chapter 3 served as prequels.
Executive producers include Steven Schneider, Ryan Turek, and Brian Kavanaugh. Producers include Leigh Whannell, Jason Blum, James Wan, and Oren Peli. Whannell was the creator and credited for his previous work, but this time around, it was written by Scott Teems (Halloween Kills).
Patrick Wilson will have quite a busy year now that we know through the trailer of Insidious: The Red Door that it is coming soon. He will also star in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom this December. He will also star in Tunnels, a drama with Jayden Martell (Knives Out), Alicia Silverstone (The Baby-Sitters Club), and Susan Sarandon.
Insidious: The Red Door will open its door to audiences on July 7.
