With America being primarily focused on cars, those who ride motorcycles are often considered different from most. Some like them, some ignore them, and some even hate them. However, one thing is for sure: you certainly couldn’t just decide to run one over. Yet one Arizona driver clearly thought that didn’t matter and went ahead with the unthinkable. Thankfully, the biker himself didn’t get seriously hurt, though it was obvious he was jolted when his motorbike was struck from behind. Looking back, the biker could see a car directly behind him. The two of them were stopped at an intersection, waiting for the traffic signal. Perhaps due to impatience, the Arizona driver decided to hit the biker from the back.
Annoyed, the biker got off his motorcycle and shouted that he had the driver on camera. He then approached the driver’s side and demanded that the person exit the car. Looking around, he noticed another vehicle stopping nearby and prepared to call the police.
The Arizona driver refused to comply and decided to reverse the car, causing the motorcycle to fall onto its side. However, that was not the end of the chaos. The driver then thought it was a great idea to flee the scene, crossing the intersection while the traffic lights were still red. And just like that, instant karma was served.
The driver, focused entirely on escaping, failed to see another car coming straight from another lane. The resulting collision was a T-bone crash. It is unclear whether anyone was severely injured, though the car suffered significant damage.
Despite how alarming the crash appeared, internet users showed little sympathy for the Arizona driver. “Too bad someone else had to pay the price because of that douche. Hope he went to jail,” one Redditor commented.
Many criticized the Arizona driver for his audacity and for acting insulted when confronted by the biker after the initial incident. “I’ve listened to this multiple times, and I swear he said ‘good!’ after hitting him, then mumbled that he was going to run him over next 😳. That was 100% intentional. Karma played out, but I feel bad for the innocent ones involved,” another Redditor wrote.
Others remarked that the driver should lose his license, given how recklessly he was operating the car. “I’m sorry, but if you can’t even tell that there’s a person on a bike stopped at a stoplight, then you shouldn’t have a driver’s license at all. I mean, if he can’t spot a biker, then what’s stopping him from running a red light… oh wait, he did,” one user wrote.
