We’ve all seen videos of people ruining expensive things due to being careless. However, some individuals take it to the next level, especially teenagers who don’t really care about their own well-being or that of others. To give you an example, one irresponsible teenager from Walnut, California, thought it would be a good idea to take a Lamborghini out for a spin. As you can imagine, everything that could go wrong went wrong, and hopefully, this kid is now paying for his consequences.
As you can see in the clip, a red Lamborghini comes out of nowhere on Sunset Bluff Rd in Walnut, California. You can clearly observe how the teenager wanted to drift with the vehicle in the empty lane. However, it seems he didn’t have a lot of experience behind the wheel, as the drifting experience was short-lived.
As soon as the kid tries to drift, you can see how he loses control, making the car spin more than it should, and landing on a traffic island. Fortunately, it seems no one was harmed in the situation, as you can see a bunch of teenagers hanging around the vehicle with no visible injuries. Yet, we can’t say the same for the car.
While the car didn’t crash per se, it ended up in a tough spot, and by the looks of it, getting it out of there would be extremely expensive, at least for the kid’s parents.
As you can imagine, it didn’t take long for Reddit users to shame the wannabe Dominic Toretto.
“Ahh, yes, hard acceleration in a tight turn strikes again,” commented one user.
“Like 90% of all the wipe-outs I see with powerful RWD cars are related to accelerating while turning. Almost every time it’s pulling out from a parking or side road. When will they learn?” said another user.
Ultimately, everyone involved should be thankful for the outcome. Careless driving often leads to serious accidents, and in this case, it seems the damage was only of the material kind. So, yes, that’s the silver lining, at least for those who were near this irresponsible teenager. On the other hand, this will be pretty expensive for the kid and the family, so we can only hope the parents never give their son another vehicle, or at least teach him how to drive correctly.
