In Fae Farm, you will be able to create your own cozy home in the enchanting world of Azoria. Now, with the game releasing on PC and Nintendo Switch, you must be wondering whether this magical Fae Farm is cross-platform. It offers co-op multiplayer for up to four players, so you will certainly want to play with others on different platforms. Exploring the Azoria, growing your farm, and restoring magic to befallen land is more fun with friends. With more and more games featuring cross-platform, we answer your burning question. Can you play Fae Farm together on PC and Nintendo Switch?
Fae Farm Cross-Platform Explained
We have some great news for you. Fae Farm is Cross-Platform enabled, which means that you can play together on PC and Nintendo Switch with friends and other players. This further means that you will be able to play together with other players no matter if they play on Nintendo Switch while you play on PC through Steam or Epic Store. Fae Farm is just much better when you are in multiplayer. With the Cross-Platform feature from day one, this cute-looking farm-sim means a lot of fun moments.
Players can team up and collaborate on the farm and enjoy other activities without direct competition. You will work in teams to complete quests. However, there is an option to create challenges between players.
Does Fae Farm Have Cross-Progression/Cross-Save?
The only thing that this game is lacking is the Cross-Progression/Cross-Save option. Unfortunately, the game does not support cross-progression or cross-save features. You won’t be able to play the campaign on Nintendo Switch and then transfer your game to PC and vice-versa. Each game story holds its own game and all progress is linked to the specific copy of the game you are using.
Moreover, players who join the multiplayer session won’t be able to take anything from the multiplayer game into their own journey. Anything unlocked or achieved in the host’s game stays exclusive to that session and doesn’t transfer to other players’ games.
