With the release of Honkai: Star Rail well underway, many players are wondering whether the battle pass, Nameless Honor, is worth it or not. Currently, many players are searching for as many resources as possible, including Stellar Jade, to have a chance to roll for Honkai: Star Rail‘s characters. Although the game itself isn’t purely pay-to-win, players who put money into Honkai: Star Rail are given an advantage, especially when it comes to opportunities to obtain new Light Cones and characters. However, the Nameless honor itself isn’t entirely worth it for every player and will only provide the fullest extent of its rewards to players who play Honkai: Star Rail every day.
In Honkai: Star Rail, players can complete the Nameless Honor by completing various activities throughout the battle pass’s active period. Missions will be set in three categories: daily missions, weekly missions, and period missions, which can be completed daily, weekly, or only once in the entire battle pass’s runtime, respectively. Missions often revolve around quests that players should be completing daily already in Honkai: Star Rail, including spending Trailblaze Power, completing Daily Activities, clearing Calyx, and much more. Finishing each of these quests provides some battle pass experience, which will level up the Nameless Honor and provide rewards at each level. In more recent updates, players don’t have to wait until they finish the Battle Pass for the Stellar Jade. Purchasing Nameless Glory provides 680 Stellar Jade at the moment of upgrading it, which is quite generous.
The Upgraded Battle Pass, Nameless Glory, Provides Worthwhile Rewards
[Updated on August 28, 2024 – Updated information and links]
Based on the resources given, Honkai: Star Rail’s battle pass is one of the better ways to earn currency and other items in the game and is worth it. Looking at it from a purely economic standpoint, the Nameless Glory upgrade costs $9.99 and provides an additional 680 Stellar Jade, 4 Star Rail Special Passes, and a 4 Star Light Cone at battle pass level 30. To put that into perspective, $10 will only purchase around 600 Stellar Jade worth of Oneiric Shards. On top of this, many of the additional resources provided are vital to progress throughout the game and will make things such as leveling up Honkai: Star Rail‘s characters much easier. For pay-to-win players in Honkai: Star Rail who play the game every day, this battle pass may be worth the price.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Nameless Honor Is Only Worth It for Players Who Play Frequently
Nowadays, Honkai: Star Rail’s Nameless Honor is a great option to have regardless of how often you play, at least for the first 680 Stellar Jade. Still, when purchasing the battle pass, players still need to earn the rewards available, and if they purchase the pass without completing the objectives, those rewards will go to waste. A good way to avoid this is to only purchase the battle pass after you are sure you’re going to complete the pass in its entirety. Doing this will help remove the risk that any of the potential rewards will go to waste. Considering that the largest sum of 680 Stellar Jade will only be available at the very end of the battle pass at level 50, players will have to put in quite a bit of work before getting the most benefits out of the pass.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Nameless Medal May Not Be Worth It
One way to make the whole experience easier is by purchasing the largest package of Honkai: Star Rail’s battle pass, the Nameless Medal. Costing $19.99, this version of the Nameless Honor will instantly complete 10 levels of the battle pass as well as give an extra 200 Stellar Jade and 5 Fuel. Even though the extra rewards are nice, players should only purchase the battle pass as a last resort. The main purpose of this pass is to level up Honkai: Star Rail‘s Nameless Honor, though the extra rewards don’t really make the extra cost worth it. The only way that this path would be worth it is as a last resort to quickly complete the last 10 levels of the pass. Otherwise, the normal upgraded battle pass, the Nameless Glory, is the best option available.
In the end, while the Nameless Glory is worth purchasing, the Nameless Medal may not be worth it for most players. Additionally, Honkai: Star Rail‘s Nameless Honor is worth investing time into completing. If players are looking to put money into the game, the battle pass is probably the most cost-effective solution that the game has to offer. Hopefully, with these additional resources and Warps, players will be able to complete their Honkai: Star Rail goals.
