The Following Contains Spoilers for the End of Twisted Metal Season 1

The final episode ofย Twisted Metalย is called “SHNGRLA.”ย John Doe, the milkman, successfully delivers his package to Raven after driving through the wastelands. Doe receives sanctuary in New San Francisco, gaining a lavorous apartment. However, he becomes bored with the safe lifestyle and decides to leave to find his companion Quiet in the Wastelands.

Raven tries to convince him to stay by offering answers to his secret past. Raven wants to use John Does to be her representative for an upcoming vehicular tournament.

Meanwhile, Quiet has become a Robin Hood-type criminal. She steals from delivery men in the wastelands and gives her earnings to the less fortunate living outside the cities. She soon meets a mysterious group wearing doll masks, led by Dollface.

While, technically, there is no post-credit scene inย Twisted Metal, there isย one mid-credits scene. Sweet Tooth is a deranged rider wearing a clown mask and roams the wastelands in his signature vehicle. He’s the most iconic character from theย Twisted Metalย games.

Sweet Tooth gets run over by Stu and Mike, two recurring characters in the series, at the start of SHNGRLA. In the mid-credits scene, Stu and Mike are then enjoying their own “Shangri-La” on a beach, roasting some hot dogs. Sweet Tooth then appears and murders Mike with a machete. He then drags Stu to somewhere unknown.

Theย Twisted Metalย season finale sets up the tournament the games are known for. The winner of the tournament will have one wish fulfilled, no matter how impossible it is. The show even hints at more characters from the games coming to the tournament, including Axel and Mr. Grimm. The mid-credits prove that Sweet Tooth is still alive and will cause more mayhem for John Doe and the other tournament participants.
