A Chicago content creator says things got out of hand with his female cousin when a simple argument they were having about a political figure suddenly turned physical. It got serious enough that police were reportedly called to the scene.
In a TikTok video, the man showed that he had been wounded from the altercation. He pointed out bright red scratches on his face, including a long mark that ran along his cheek.
He claimed the fight started after he made comments about Jasmine Crockett, especially how he viewed her as an “idiot.” “What made [my cousin] lose her composure so much was when I said, who do you think watches Jasmine Crockett more? The person whose job is to be on the internet or the person who watches them in their free time,” he said in the video.
The man said his cousin, who strongly disagreed with him, suddenly put her hands on him as he was leaving. He alleged she slapped him and tried to scratch his face, but he immediately tackled her to the ground and restrained her.
According to him, their disagreement didn’t have to go that far or turn physical. “I never want to get physical with a woman, ever,” he said. “I don’t like violence, period. Much less with a woman… You that much of a fangirl for this blithering idiot that you gonna assault your cousin over it?”
Based on the caption of the post, the incident happened last December.

Some viewers also sympathized with the man after seeing the scratches on his face. “Absolutely unacceptable. sorry this happened to you 😕,” one comment read. Another shared, “I’m glad you kept your composure my brother. Good job 💯🙏.”
At the same time, not everyone was fully convinced by his version of events, with one person writing, “Nah I gotta hear her side😭,” and another adding, “This ain’t the whole story but ok.”
