Who would have thought Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, was secretly a Swiftie? According to People, the 42-year-old businesswoman recently attended Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour. She hasn’t shared any photos and videos from the outing on social media. However, the publication reports Ivanka took her 13-year-old daughter, Arabella, and her friends to see the singer in concert in Miami. Her support of Swift comes as a huge shock, considering Trump announced his “hate” toward the pop star just a few weeks ago.
Taylor Swift and Donald Trump’s Feud Didn’t Stop Ivanka Trump And Her Daughter From Attending the Eras Tour
After taking a two-month break from performing, Taylor Swift resumed her Eras Tour at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium over the weekend. She performed three back-to-back concerts on Oct. 18, 19, and 20. It’s unclear which show Ivanka Trump and her daughter attended. Since Swift’s Eras Tour will end in December, it seems the pair wanted to catch the singer in concert before she officially wrapped things up. Clearly, Ivanka Trump and Arabella haven’t let politics get in the way of their love for Swift.
Following Donald Trump and Kamala Harris’ presidential debate last month, Swift publicly endorsed the Democratic politician on Instagram. She announced her support of Harris in a Sept. 10 Instagram post. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift wrote. The singer then praised Harris by calling her a “steady-handed, gifted leader” who can lead the country “by calm and not chaos.”
Swift explained she decided to share her political views publicly since AI-generated images of her falsely supporting Trump recently appeared on his website. “It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter,” she said.
Swift’s statement didn’t sit well with Trump. Shortly after she endorsed Harris for president, the former President released a statement blasting the singer. “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” he wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.
As of now, he has yet to share his reaction toward Ivanka Trump attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
