Jacob Elordi knows precisely how to rile up a crowd. The Aussie actor appeared on The Tonight Show this week as he spoke to Jimmy Fallon about his Saturday Night Live hosting gig and recent projects. Of course, Fallon had to mention the highly talked-about film Saltburn. In the movie, Elordi has a racy scene in the bathtub that ends with his co-star, Barry Keoghan, drinking the water from his bath. Since then, candles commemorating the moment have been selling, and the actor finally got his hands on one.
During the interview, Fallon asked if he’d heard of the viral Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater scented candle. “Yes, Cailee [Spaeny], my co-star from Priscilla, actually sent me the videos of people doing this,” he said before sniffing the candle. “I want to know who’s making the money?”

The crowd later went wild when Elordi got somewhat unhinged with the bit and pretended to slurp at the candle like Keoghan’s character does to the bathwater in Saltburn. Later, the Euphoria star revealed that he didn’t hate the scent of the product. “It smells like a washing room, like detergent. Yeah, it’s not bad,” Elordi said.
While Jacob Elordi may have been intrigued by the candle, his former co-star, Cailee Spaeny, struggled to embrace the product. “It slightly terrifies me. I can’t believe this is a thing,” the actress previously told Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t even know how I should react. It smells really nice.”
In addition, Spaeny also revealed that she had to look away while watching Saltburn because she felt uncomfortable seeing her friend in spicy situations. “I don’t know. Oh my god. Oh my god, he’s my friend, I couldn’t, I can’t! This is too weird. I had to close my eyes in some of those parts in Saltburn,” she said. “This is one of my best friends doing these things. I can’t unsee this right now.”
While some people may not be comfortable with Jacob Elordi’s bathwater candle, the product has gone viral. Saltburn fans don’t seem to mind the scent or the hilarious meaning behind the creation.
