Jacqueline Laurita reveals why she tried to quit RHONJ. No one will find this surprising in the least bit, but she wanted to quit the show because it is, gasp, toxic. “Disgusting” was her exact wording. Keep in mind she has been on the show for seven seasons. But for whatever reason, season 4 was her breaking point, and she claims she tried to leave the show. What, was someone blocking the door?
So no talk about how it made her well known? No talk about how it keeps her valid? No talk about how it made her into a money-making brand. None of that, huh? Just “Real Housewives BAD.” Wow, how profound of her. Way to bite the hand that feeds you and your family.
Jacqueline Laurita Reveals Why She Tried To Quit RHONJ
Via Screenrant:
“During an episode of Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Jacqueline shared why she hated being a part of RHONJ so much. Part of the reason she didn’t enjoy it is that she claimed it was so heavily produced and there was so much direction given to her about what she should be talking about. “You’re constantly looking over your shoulder…You’re trying to talk about your life and they’re like, ‘We’re not following that. Tell us about this or talk about this.’” She called it, “That tap on the shoulder from the producers.” Jacqueline said the whole experience made her feel like “it was giving her cancer.'”
Wait a minute. She said she felt like the show was giving her Cancer. Wow, that just kind of tells you the person you are dealing with. She compared being pampered on a reality show to a disease that kills most of the people who have it. That folks, is entitlement summed up in a single sentence. It could have been toxic and terrible; no one doubts that. But her wording is kind of sickening, to be honest, especially if you’ve ever known anyone suffering from Cancer.
Bad take there, lady.
