On Sunday, the actress took to Instagram to pay her husband an epic Father’s Day tribute, complete with odes to his many great deeds in his familial role. She accompanied the tribute with a photo of the Bad Boys star in a bizarre position, surrounded by his large family, including his ex-wife Sharee Zampino.
The Father’s Day snap featured Will Smith fast asleep on an outdoor lounger with Jada Pinkett leaning over and pointing a finger at him. Willow and Jaden Smith flanked their mom on each side, while Trey Smith perched on the tail end of the lounger, making a funny gesture at his sleeping dad. Sheree joined the family photo with a more somber expression, standing in between her son and Jaden.
Next, Jada Pinkett shared a shot of a baseball cap inscribed “Happy Zaddy Day,” and a stuffed mason jar with the words, “Happy Father’s Day” written on it. Both items lay on a table set out on the patio, suggesting the family celebrated the remarkable occasion over a meal. Jada ensured the world knew her husband deserved every bit of the celebration by singing odes to him in a heartfelt tribute. She wrote,

Will Smith also rode the Father’s Day waves, celebrating all the dads out there with a hilarious video of a little girl shooting a baseball at her dad’s crutches, leaving him groaning in pain. The actor captioned,

The heartwarming Father’s Day tributes comes days after Rob Schneider ripped into Will Smith’s 2022 Oscar’s slap. Appearing on The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Tuesday, the actor and comedian criticized Will for slapping Chris Rock over a mere joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. He claimed Will exposed himself as the asshole he truly was with his actions.
According to Rob, Chris’ comment about Jada was no excuse for the icon to resort to violence, especially on a public stage. Although Will Smith went on to snag the 2022 Oscar win for Best Actor for his role on King Richard, the consequences of his “deep, dark” attack have continued to trail him to date.
