Jamie Lynn Spears run on Dancing With the Stars was not very memorable. She danced with dancing partner Alan Bersten, but it seemed a lot of what she had to learn may have been a bit much for her. To be a non-dancer and to still try the show says a lot about her character. Was she a good dancer? Arguably, no. did she do her best and at least show up to give it a shot? She did, and that is quite the feat.
You all probably remember Dixie D’Amelio literally slaying her season (31, to be exact). That is proving to be a tall order to top, as no one from this season has quite made it there yet.

A lot of people were rooting for Jamie Lynn, but she just didn’t bring the sauce. She lacked the grace and delicacy of some of the other dancers this season. We do want to give her a ton of credit, though. She tried and practiced and did her best, and that is far better than any of us could do. It should be said that sister Britney kind of cast a shadow over the whole thing with her own dancing video this week.
Perhaps if Jamie Lynn Spears danced with knives like her sis she would have been just fine. Also, how funny is it that Britney stole her dancing thunder by dancing strange online? Poor Jamie Lynn just cannot get out from her massive shadow. No one expects to get kicked off Dancing With the Stars in week two, but it happens. We wish Jamie Lynn all the best in her future endeavors, but safe to say dance won’t be one of them.
