Jenelle Evans is opening up about her future without her ex-husband, David Eason, and it involves making money. The Teen Mom star is currently embroiled in a tumultuous divorce battle with Eason. However, that isn’t stopping her from pursuing her passion and building an empire.
On Thursday’s episode of MTV’s Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, Evans revealed that she wants to venture into the cannabis world. While chatting with her manager, August Keen, in Vegas, the reality star was presented with a business opportunity to release her own marijuana brand. “I know you’ve always wanted your own cannabis line,” Keen said to Evans, who replied:
“I always wanted to come out with a marijuana brand because I’ve smoked since I’ve been younger. It helps me medically, mentally.”

Explaining why she never got to fulfilling that dream, the 16 and Pregnant alum blamed her troublesome ex-husband. “I’m just happy I don’t have the obstacle of David in the way,” she declared. Her manager gladly agreed, noting that Eason kept her away “from a lot of deals” during their seven-year marriage. Now, with Eason out of the way, Evans is ready to be a businesswoman, and she is drawing inspiration from her Teen Mom past. The TV personality admitted that one of her viral moments on Teen Mom 2 motivated her to have her own weed dispensary.
“A long time ago, when I was on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, it was me and my mom arguing, and I was like, ‘It’s about this time of the day. I want to smoke,’ and that just resonated with everybody. ‘That one scene, I thought to myself, ‘I need to do something with this relating to weed.'”

The 32-year-old wants to call her marijuana brand This Time of the Day and launch a pre-rolled pack as her first product. She explained that her brand’s mission is to remove the shame surrounding mothers who smoke. “The future of this is going to be great,” Evans expressed.
Jenelle Evans Wants To Jet Out Of North Carolina
Since calling it quits with Eason in March 2024, Jenelle Evans has been making major changes to her life. According to sources, the TV personality is considering saying goodbye to North Carolina after years of staying in the city. Following a visit to her Teen Mom co-star, Briana DeJesus, in Florida, an insider claimed Evans considered relocating there.
The informant noted that Evans’ troubling divorce from Eason has led her to believe that changing her environment will give her a fresh start. However, given that they reportedly no longer communicate, it is unsure if her ex-husband is aware of her plans.
