Insiders have revealed that Jenelle Evans‘ son Jace is currently hospitalized after running away from home once again. Recall that Jace and Jenelle Evans made the headlines in September when the latter reported her son missing. According to reports, the teenager ran away from home after Jenelle’s husband, David Eason, allegedly roughed him up. Thankfully, the authorities found Jace and placed him in his grandmother Barbara’s care in the following days. However, after a recent altercation with his grandma, Jace ran away from home for the umpteenth time. Now, he is in a hospital under CPS care.
Inside Jace and Barbara’s Fall Out
Much seems to be happening with Evans’ son, Jace, reigniting concerns about his well-being. On Monday, sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that the 14-year-old had a misunderstanding with Barbara. According to the insiders, Jace recently landed in trouble at his school after he was caught vaping. Jace’s actions resulted in Barbara taking away his phone. The informants relayed to the outlet that Jenelle, the CPS, and the foster care team initially advised Barbara to refrain from giving Jace a phone. However, she thought he could effectively handle the device. Ultimately, it turned out that giving Jace a phone wasn’t the best choice.
Jenelle Evans’ Son Jace Hospitalized Under CPS Care
Following Barbara’s decision to take away her grandson’s phone, Jace ran away from home on Saturday. Without hesitation, the authorities sprung into action and eventually found the teenager on Sunday at 11:45 pm. Jenelle Evans’s son, Jace, was then hospitalized and placed under the care of Child Protective Services. Now, the current update revealed the CPS would place Jace in foster care, as he has run away many times. What’s more, there are chances the young boy might end up in a juvenile detention facility if he keeps getting in trouble. Meanwhile, Jace and Jenelle Evans are still not on speaking terms. The 14-year-old decided to keep his distance from his mother and stepfather after the authorities placed him in Barbara’s care.
