Jennifer Aniston has come to a tough decision with her former Friends co-stars. The actress, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer are officially calling it quits. The five stars have decided that they will never again all get together for any televised or filmed reunion following the heartbreaking death of their sixth co-star, Matthew Perry. The stars are now dealing with the realization that their Friends frenzy is now dead and buried.

Jennifer Aniston and her co-stars don’t want to do any more reunions without Matthew Perry. Since his death, it seems that the stars are not interested in revisiting that time in their life again, per In Touch Weekly.

“It wouldn’t be right to do anything without Matty,” an insider says. “The thought of bringing everyone back for a reunion show or a tribute special is just too painful. When Matty died, so did Friends!”

In 2021, all six stars got together on screen for the first time since the show’s series finale. The reunion was filmed for HBO Max and was a huge hit. The emotion behind the cast members’ memories was palpable. Sadly, that kind of magic won’t be recreated again.

“While fans may have held on to hopes of one final reunion, the reality is that without Matthew, neither money nor nostalgia can bring the cast together on screen again,” a second source tells the outlet. “This truly marks the end of an era.”

“Friends is dead. This is so sad. Thank god for syndication,” one person commented.

“It will never be the same to watch Friends again,” another wrote.

In addition to the sad news about any further reunion hopes, Matthew Perry’s death investigation is also a hot topic. The actor was found dead at his home in October 2023. It was later revealed he died from the use of ketamine. Now, several arrests and charges have been made against those who allegedly helped him obtain and administer the drug.

Jennifer Aniston and the rest of the Friends crew have stayed mostly tight-lipped about Matthew Perry’s death and investigation. However, it’s clear that the cast took his death hard. Unfortunately, it seems that it may be too painful for them to ever film together again.
