Jennifer Aniston made sure to let Instagram know that she didn’t “wake up like this” as she shared a stunning, no-pants snap in October 2019. Showing off her famous legs as she delivered an amusing post for her army of fans, the Friends star posed from a studio wearing only a long sweater as a glam team delivered the finishing touches, but it was the caption doing it for fans.
Showing off her sense of humor as she scrunched up her face while rocking cute pigtails, Jennifer gained over 6 million likes for the post, also earning celebrity approval from stars including actress Reese Witherspoon and pop star Justin Bieber.
Jennifer Aniston Shows Off Sweater Look On Instagram
Posting one week after her headline-making Instagram debut, Aniston delivered an Instagram vs. Reality post, opening her slides standing in a studio and modeling a thigh-skimming, oversized sweater in white.
Slouching and looking kind of confused as she was attended to by her stylist and hairstylist, the sitcom star rocked braided pigtails as she wore only socks and gold sandals to accessorize her look, but the next photo showed a very different vibe.
Did Not ‘Wake Up Like This’
Brandishing a hat and modeling the same sweater as she struck a glam photo shoot pose in the next slide, Aniston nailed the celebrity magazine vibe as she delivered a sassy smile while once again showing off her legs.
“I’m just a girl… standing with hair and makeup. A stylist. A photographer. A lighting crew, wind machine, props, and a computer… asking you to think I woke up like this,” she wrote.
While Jennifer is active on Instagram and also runs a feed for her LolaVie haircare brand, she’s actually admitted to hating the whole thing.
“It’s torture for me. The reason I went on Instagram was to launch this line,” she told Allure in 2022. “Then the pandemic hit and we didn’t launch. So I was just stuck with being on Instagram. It doesn’t come naturally.” The actress also confessed that she’s “not very good” at posting online, although her fans would likely disagree.
Reflecting on her youth and a time without the internet, The Morning Show star continued: “Look, the internet, great intentions, right? Connect people socially, social networking. It goes back to how young girls feel about themselves, compare and despair.” Aniston is followed by over 45 million on Instagram.
