Jennifer Aniston is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. The actress hit it big when she starred as Rachel Green on the iconic television series Friends. Aniston along with her co-stars, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer became household names because of the show’s popularity. Of course, fans still can’t get enough of Friends, and a mini-reunion occurred in a Super Bowl commercial, which featured Aniston savagely dissing Schwimmer.
In the commercial for Uber Eats, Aniston is seen talking up the service. However, she admits that in order to remember to use the program, she’s had to forget other things. Later, Schwimmer is seen coming up to embrace her as she backs away, per Page Six. Aniston claims to not remember Schwimmer, who starred as love interest Ross Gellar on Friends. When the actor explains that the duo worked together for ten years, Aniston scoffed and walked away. “I hate this town,” Schwimmer then hilariously stated.
Friends Stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer Reunite for Super Bowl Commercial
Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer weren’t the only familiar faces in the Uber Eats Super Bowl commercial. Stars like David and Victoria Beckham appeared while jokingly forgetting the name of Victoria’s former girl group, The Spice Girls. Singer Jelly Roll also marveled over his face tattoos, not remembering how they got there.
However, Aniston and Schwimmer’s Friends reunion is what delighted fans. “He should have yelled “we were on a break!”, then she would’ve remembered,” one person tweeted about the commercial. “Freaking out,” another social media user wrote. “Now we need them sharing and tagging each other on Instagram!” a third comment read.
Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer’s on-air Friends reunion comes just months after their co-star Matthew Perry’s tragic and shocking death. Since that time, the cast have said to be grieving the loss of their friend and pulling together in support. Meanwhile, fans are happy to see Ross and Rachel back together on their TV screens.
