Jennifer Aniston isn’t done honoring Matthew Perry’s legacy. The actress is reportedly planning to reunite her Friends co-stars for a more private memorial for the late actor. Aniston is said to be mapping out a time for her and Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc to get together during the holiday season. She allegedly hopes that the group can share their feelings about Perry’s death and honor him in the process.
According to In Touch, Aniston and the rest of the Friends cast attended Perry’s funeral back in November. However, that memorial was more about the actor’s family members. That’s why she now wants to host her own little event so that she and her former co-stars can truly pay homage to Perry’s life.

“The funeral was such a sad occasion, but it was mainly for Matt’s family, and they held back out of respect for them,” an insider tells the outlet, adding that Aniston’s event will likely be very emotional. “There will undoubtedly be tears,” the source stated.
“She has an amazing house, and the Zen feel of her place is exactly what the occasion calls for. She’s planning a really nice evening with good food, some wine, and lots of candles and soft music. She’ll break out the photo albums and candid videos and maybe even have a slide show,” the informant added.
Matthew Perry was found dead at his California home on October 28. The actor reportedly drowned in his jacuzzi. Sadly, Jennifer Aniston has been taking Perry’s death very hard in the weeks since his passing, reports Page Six. “I miss him dearly. We all do. Boy, he made us laugh really hard,” Aniston told Variety of Perry’s passing.
In addition to Aniston’s plans for a Friends reunion to honor Perry, the cast is also rumored to be making a TV appearance at the 2024 Emmy Awards, per Entertainment Tonight. There, they’ll likely pay tribute to their lost colleague. It appears that Aniston and the rest of the Friends cast are doing everything they can to keep Perry’s legacy alive.
