Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez may appear to have totally different personalities and styles. However, they have something very big in common. They’ve both been married to actor Ben Affleck. Garner shares three children with her ex-husband, who is currently married to JLo, meaning the singer is their stepmother. While the blended family seems to get along well, sources claim that Garner thinks that at least one element of Lopez’s behavior is cringy and has banned it from her home.
Insiders claim that Lopez’s latest album, This Is Me…Now, has struck a nerve with Garner. The actress reportedly doesn’t like some of the lyrics of JLo’s songs and has completely banned the music from her home and around her children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
Jennifer Garner Deems Jennifer Lopez’s New Album Cringy
“Jen thinks the whole thing is just cringe. The kids don’t need to hear about Ben ‘climbing on top’ of their stepmom and their ‘bodies aligning.’ It’s embarrassing,” the source tells Life and Style. “Basically, this album is telling the world that the original Bennifer was meant to be,” the informant added. “On one track, Ben even utters, ‘I love you, I always have,’ which Jen took as a bit of a slap in the face. It’s tough to hear.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner’s relationship with Ben Affleck seems to be in good standing. The actress is reportedly even in talks to work with her ex-husband on a new film. However, it remains to be seen if Jennifer Lopez is on board with the idea. Garner and Affleck have worked together before. However, this time, Affleck would be behind the camera as director. The Netflix crime thriller is also said to star Affleck’s best friend, Matt Damon.
Whether Garner and Lopez have bad blood between them remains to be seen. However, it appears that the two women are classy enough to keep the drama away from their children.
