The singer moved to end her marriage on the two-year anniversary of the couple’s wedding ceremony, sparking rumors of some bad blood between the pair. However, the pair haven’t said anything disparaging about each other in the media. Meanwhile, rumors are flying that all is not well between the former couple. Sources are now claiming that the Batman actor is getting tired of bumping into his estranged wife in public.
In Touch Weekly reports that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck continue to run into each other as their lives are still intertwined. Even though they don’t share children together, their kids are very close. They even attend the same school, which has allegedly become an issue for Affleck. Earlier this month, the pair bumped into each other at a school function with their kids.
“Ben knows he’s going to see Jen at these functions. Their kids go to the same school, so how could he not? Still, it’s awkward,” an insider tells the outlet.

Affleck is famously close with his first wife, Jennifer Garner. The pair share three children together, Violet, Fin, and Samuel. However, he likely won’t have the same post-divorce relationship with JLo.
“She’d like to be closer, but as far as Ben’s concerned, it’s better for them to keep separate lives as much as possible,” the informant dished.
In addition to seeing each other at their kids’ school functions, Ben and JLo also still have a working relationship. They previously collaborated on a film that is due to premiere in December. All of this added to the fact that they’re still navigating their divorce settlement as the pair is closer than Affleck may want to be.
“Ben and Jen are resigned to keeping things as is,” says the insider. “The hope is it’ll get easier as time goes by.”
It seems that Affleck and Lopez will never be able to escape their romantic history.
“Things seem to be icy between Ben and Jen. It seems that he’s tired of seeing her everywhere, and who could blame him? They don’t share children, but he can’t seem to get rid of her,” one person commented on the situation.
“Bennifer will always be a thing. Even after they divorce, those two are going to be linked together forever. Nothing to be done about it now,” another wrote.
