Jennifer Lopez is facing accusations that her JLo Beauty brand is “working overtime” to delete negative comments. The singer, 55, began limiting comments on her Instagram as split rumors spiked this summer, and she’s kept them limited since filing for divorce from 52-year-old Ben Affleck in August.
On September 26, JLo Beauty shared a throwback photo of JLo dripping sweat as she took a gym selfie. Flaunting her jaw-dropping abs in a clingy workout look, the “Jenny From The Block” hitmaker reminded fans of her fierce muscles, but the comments section has gotten ugly. In particular, one fan has gained likes for alleging that the 2021-founded brand has been desperately deleting less-than-flattering remarks. Lopez’s main feed, and her beauty one, are littered with loving comments, with none mentioning her divorce.

Looking fierce in a snap that’s five years old, JLo highlighted her rippling torso while posing in a skintight crop top with long sleeves.
Rocking a crushed velour look in yellow-gold, the Latina accentuated her toned hips in a matching pair of leggings adding pops of gray, with a paneled waist best showcasing her sensational physique. The sweaty, makeup-free selfie also came complete with an unfussy hairdo as Jennifer wore her hair in a bun. Kicking off SANOS week, JLo Beauty called its founder a “powerhouse,” adding:
“Each day we’ll highlight one of Jennifer’s signature 5’s, her daily routine must-haves. Stick around until the end—we might have a surprise waiting for you.”
Told She’s ‘Avoiding Negative Comments’
Over 40 fans have now liked a remark that’s somehow bypassed the limited comments setup. “The team working overtime keeping negative comments erased and limiting them on the private acct hope they all get a raise before they don’t have a job,” the fan wrote.
Elsewhere, fans commented that JLo had been “putting in the work,” with the remainder of the replies sending her love.
Earlier this year, JLo had been tormented by her fans, both on her main IG and her JLo Beauty brand’s one. Users lashed out as they smelled the star’s fourth divorce coming, with some accusing her of being self-centered and focusing on herself instead of trying to fix her marriage.
Lopez never replied to the comments, but with those limited comments now in place, she did take action. Jen is said to be keen to remain on good terms with Affleck, whom she met with for a high-profile lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel not long after filing for divorce.
