Jennifer Lopez fans were shocked this week when the singer canceled several of her upcoming tour dates without an explanation. JLo’s This Is Me…Now tour marked her first in five years. However, the Ticketmaster website reveals that Lopez will no longer be performing in Cleveland, Tampa, Nashville, Atlanta, and at least three other cities. Currently, the reason for the cancelations is unknown. Interestingly, the news comes at a time when Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, are rumored to be on the rocks.
According to USA Today, fans were less than thrilled about the tour date cancelations. They were even more annoyed by the fact that Lopez didn’t share a reason for the canceled concerts. Meanwhile, speculation about JLo’s marriage continues to make headlines. Recently, it was revealed that Lopez and Affleck were seeking therapy as a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. However, neither party has spoken out about the rumors.
Jennifer Lopez Cancels Tour Dates Amid Ben Affleck Marriage Rumors
“There’s no doubt they love each other deeply, but there’s simply no hiding the fact that they’ve got issues. They both really want to get their relationship back on track, so with the help of their counselor, they’ve come up with this plan, which includes therapy and plenty of space for Ben to try to regain some stability,” an insider tells Heat World.
However, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has his own theories about why Jennifer Lopez may have canceled her tour dates, and they have nothing to do with Ben Affleck. On Instagram, Hilton shared a screenshot of many tickets still left for sale at JLo’s Miami concert.
“This is shocking. Look at how many tickets remain for the second stop of #JenniferLopez’s upcoming tour! Tickets have been on sale for a while! This is in Miami – a big city with a lot of Latinos, her demo – and it’s a Friday night! Eeek!!!” he wrote.
It’s uncertain if Jennifer Lopez’s personal life with Ben Affleck, her ticket sales, or another issue caused her to cancel many of her concerts. However, fans are hoping to get answers sooner rather than later.
