Stepping out into the Monaco sunshine that summer, the 55-year-old showed off her love for the man she’d eventually marry, but she wasn’t met with much praise as fans were left reeling over the photos.
Flaunting her fit figure in a strappy white minidress, JLo strolled around while showcasing a “Ben” necklace, one reminding fans of her love for the 52-year-old. Lopez, who married Affleck in 2022, filed for divorce last month after two years of marriage. Fans seeing her summer 2021 look deemed the necklace childish and tacky, with more than one user calling her “embarrassing.”

Enjoying some retail therapy as she kept COVID-safe in a face mask, JLo flaunted her gym-honed shoulders while upping the ante with a leggy hemline.
Modeling a lightweight sundress in white, the “Jenny From The Block” hitmaker kept summery in spaghetti straps, drawing the eye to her slim waist via stitched paneling while flashing her muscly legs. Adding a flat pair of sandals and straw sunhat, Jen carried a white purse with gold chains, completing her look with that headline-making “Ben” necklace.
Alongside rocking a discreet chain around her neck, the Atlas star wore a second one, where three letter formed the Batman actor’s name. Lopez was eventually spotted heading into a yacht following her shopping outing.
Fans Cringe And Call It ‘Embarrassing’
Comments came in fast as The Daily Mail shared the shots. “That is so embarrassing and tragic. She’s coming across as a really insecure and desperate middle aged woman,” one fan wrote, and with over 2,000 likes, this proved the most-liked comment.
“I find it a bit tacky and tastless” was a comment agreed on by over 1,600 users, with a third fan saying: “Isn’t she rather old for name necklaces? Ffs.” Echoing the thought, another user said that this is “something a 14-year-old would do.”
Jennifer has removed the necklace and the wedding ring that landed on her finger in 2022. At the end of last month, and following two months apart from her husband, the pop star filed for divorce, choosing to do so without any attorney and without having signed a prenup.
JLo, who has been married four times, has since been spotted touring a Bevely Hills pad, although Ben has already purchased his new $20.5 million bachelor pad. The $68 million mansion the former couple once shared remains on the market.
