Jennifer Lopez kept things themed over the Fourth of July, posting low-key snaps of her holiday weekend while showing off her cupcakes. The singer, 55, sent her Instagram fans a big smile in photos showing off her fit figure, and with themed cupcakes in red, white, and blue, she was giving a nod to Independence Day.
Lopez was photographed looking pretty glum on L.A. streets ahead of the holiday weekend in the wake of ex-boyfriend Diddy’s shock verdict, but it looked like she’d perked up since. The pop sensation limited comments on her Instagram share, but fans still left her over 300,000 likes. Jen began limiting comments on her feed ahead of her 2024 split from ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Smiling indoors as she ditched the pro photographers, JLo sent her Instagram followers a happy smile while showcasing her “Fourth of July” cupcake.
Holding her sweet treat in one hand, the “Jenny From The Block” star showcased her toned arms and shoulders in a lightweight, ribbed tank top, keeping her outfit casual as she wore her highlighted tresses down. Keeping glam with a full face of makeup, Jen wore blush and contour over a foundation layer, adding lipstick and pink eyeshadow. Further images showed the mom of two smiling, with fans eventually seeing her holding two cupcakes. In a caption, Jennifer wrote: “Happy Fourth of July everybody Here are the cupcake selfies LOL.”
Not Her First Selfie
Jennifer made headlines earlier this year for showing off more of her muscular physique as she rocked a cropped look on Instagram. In May, she rocked a sporty outfit consisting of tight leggings, a loose-fitting cropped sweater, plus a tiny crop top beneath.
Looking fierce in shades, the actress donned a baseball cap, proving that every day is gym day for her.
“Push today so you glow tomorrow…,” she wrote.
“When my confidence is lagging, I dance,” Jen has shared, adding: “There’s something about seeing what my body is capable of and feeling the endorphin rush that comes with a good dance session that really helps boost my confidence and my mood. I still consider myself a dancer at heart and I love it.”
Jennifer Lopez regularly tops lists of the fittest celebrities over 50. Also on the list are stars, including actress Jennifer Aniston, Oscar winner Halle Berry, plus model Elizabeth Hurley. Jen may have spent the Fourth of July with twins Max and Emme, but chances are, she didn’t spend it with Ben Affleck!
