“Even before things went totally south with Ben she was pushing for a full-time move to New York, and now she’s decided to go ahead with that after the split,” an insider tells the outlet. “She’ll probably keep a place in L.A. but she needs to get away from all the noise and the scrutiny on the West Coast,” the source continued.
“There’s nothing to stop her from taking the kids and making a fresh start back in New York. They’ve got plenty of schools back east, and she’s got a great social circle there.”
Lopez and Rodriguez called off their engagement in April 2021. Very soon after, JLo rekindled her relationship with Affleck. Since that time, A-Rod has moved on and is even dating someone knew. However, Lopez believes they may have “unfinished business.”
“For all his faults they did have an intense connection, he was devastated when they split up. At this point it’s not beyond the realm that they could reconnect,” says the source.
In addition, Jennifer Lopez is said to feel more at home in New York. She reportedly has a small social circle and feels to be in her element in the city. However, it’s unclear how Ben Affleck and the couple’s blended family would react to be being pulled apart. Their children have seemingly grown close to one another.
