JLo was reportedly furious after she saw photos of Affleck cozying up to his first wife, Jennifer Garner, just weeks after they settled their divorce. Now she’s looking to get a bit of payback herself, this time with hunky actor Brett Goldstein, who has drawn comparassions to Affleck.
The Daily Mail reports that Jennifer Lopez is set to work with Brett Goldstein in an upcoming Netflix film titled Office Romance. It’s been a rough few months for JLo as she’s dealt with career issues, the end of her marriage, and media scrutiny. However, she’s reportedly excited about working with Goldstein, and maybe ruffling Ben Affleck’s feathers in the process.
“After a very tough start to 2025, Jennifer can’t wait to start a new project and it certainly helps that she will be working with a very handsome and smart star like Brett,” an insider revealed. “He is one hot ticket and a real class act with talent to back it up — he not only acts but he writes amazing scripts. He is like the younger, better, British version of Ben. She thinks he is very cute.”

The informant revealed that Affleck knows who Goldstein is, and the fact that he’s “younger and smarter” than the Batman star will “irk him for sure.”
It was reported that Goldstein may have had a little crush on Lopez. The actor has previously declared his love for JLo. Back in 2018 when Lopez celebrated her 50th birthday, Goldsten gushed over the Hustlers star. Now he has a chance to get close to her. However, fans aren’t convinced it’s the right move for either party.
“I got my popcorn ready,” one fan commented.
