Despite other couples like Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin remaining friends following split, it looks like Ben and Jen have it all figured out. Over the weekend, the exes were spotted on a family outing with their kids, and the duo looked happier than ever to be in each other’s company. In the photos, they couldn’t seem to stop smiling at one another.
According to Page Six, Ben Affleck joined Jennifer Garner and their kids for a paintball excursion. The pair, who share three children Violet, Fin, and Samuel, together, seemed to have a blast together as they pelted each other with paintballs during the sunny Sunday outing.
In the photos, Affleck is seen wearing a pair of jeans, dark shirt, and collared jacket. For her part, Garner sported baggy denim pants, a navy blue crewneck, and sneakers. She also had her dark hair pulled back into a ponytail. The couple appeared to be having a great time with their son, Samuel, 13. However, it’s unclear if the youngest Affleck child’s siblings were also in attendance.
The former couple’s easy demeanor with one another certainly caught the attention of fans. Some praised the duo for their health co-parenting technique. Meanwhile, others believe that there could still be a romantic spark between them.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner married in 2005. They spent 10 years together before calling it quits in 2015. However, they’ve seemingly remained close ever since. In 2022, Ben married Jennifer Lopez. Sadly, the couple filed for divorce just two years later in the summer of 2024. Garner was said to be very supportive of Affleck during the split.
“They have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever,” an insider previously told the outlet. “[They] very grateful that they have such an amazing relationship.”
Over the past year, Ben Affleck has seemingly been spending more and more time with Jennifer Garner and their family. The former spouses were together on Thanksgiving, and even saw each other on Valentine’s Day. However, hopes for a romantic reunion seem to be low as Jen has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018.
