She is making plans to keep herself busy. While Jen is putting on a brave face, it will likely be a challenging time for the singer.
It is that time of year when everyone is excited to start making big plans for the upcoming holiday season. However, for Jennifer Lopez, this will mark her first holiday without Ben Affleck. Jen tells People magazine that despite being a very intense year, she looks forward to the upcoming holidays.
Jennifer Lopez claims that even though her life is not going as planned, she will not spend the holidays alone. The Unstoppable star is putting on a brave face in hopes of masking her sadness and claims she is looking forward to the upcoming celebrations.
“It was a pretty intense year for me, and I’m most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast,” states Lopez. Jen explains that the holidays have always been a special time for her and her family.

“I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories,” states Jennifer. The singer reveals she has made special plans to spend as much time as possible with two of her best friends, her sisters, Lynda and Leslie.
Lopez admits that with everyone’s busy schedules, the family doesn’t get to spend much time together throughout the year. So, she is looking forward to seeing her family, catching up, and making new memories.
Jennifer adds that besides some much-needed sister time, she will also spend time with her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, and her twins, Emme and Max. The singer plans to host the family get-together at her former marital home in Beverly Hills.
“I’m glad Jennifer is looking ahead. It is time for her to let go of her past with Ben Affleck and begin building her future. The holidays won’t be easy on her, and she has a lot of healing to do. But in time, she will get over the heartbreak of losing Ben,” one fan commented.
Despite the heartbreaking year she has had, Jennifer Lopez claims she looks forward to turning the page on her former life and starting a new chapter. When asked about dating, JLo states that she is in no hurry to start dating seriously anytime soon.
However, Ben Affleck reportedly claims he is more than ready to jump back into the dating pool. The Gone Girl star has even set up a list of rules for any new potential partners. But his number one priority is finding a sober or recovering partner.
As for Jennifer Lopez, she states that for now, she wants to focus on her family, her work, and her self-care. In time, she feels that everything else in her life will eventually fall into place.
