According to The Daily Mail, Jennifer Lopez raised eyebrows when she and Matt Damon both showed up at the Toronto Film Festival to promote their film Unstoppable. During the film premiere, JLo took Damon to a sitting area, where she grabbed his hand and engaged in conversation with him. The actor was photographed holding Lopez’s hand and bowing his head, as rumors that they were praying together even surfaced. However, it seems that the pair weren’t talking about Ben Affleck or the divorce.

Sources claim that Damon shut down any attempts that Lopez made to speak about Affleck or the end of their marriage. The actor reportedly wanted to stay out of the drama, and wouldn’t allow the conversation to sway to his lifelong best friend and business partner.
“He told her he is glad she is doing well and is thankful for her participation in the film – but he made it clear he was not there to talk about Ben at all,” an insider dished. “Her whole hand on his hand was a nice touch – but he was not having any of it.”
The source went on to reveal that Matt Damon was “not praying” with JLo, and that the actor would “always have Ben’s back no matter what.”
Meanwhile, fans took to the internet to weigh in on the situation. Many believed that Lopez was in the wrong for pulling Damon aside during the very public event.
