Jennifer Lopez is currently in the middle of a divorce from Ben Affleck. The couple called it quits when JLo filed for divorce in August after just two years of marriage. However, this certainly isn’t the singer’s first time dealing with the end of a marriage. This marks the fourth divorce for Lopez, who was previously married to singer Marc Anthony, dancer Cris Judd, and model Ojani Noa. Now, the singer’s first husband, Noa, is opening up about their split and how Sean “Diddy” Combs played a big part.
According to Page Six, Ojani Noa, who was married to JLo from 1997 until 1998, recently sat down for an interview with Despierta America. During the interview, he didn’t hold back when it came to sharing the details of his divorce from Jennifer Lopez and how Diddy was partially to blame for their split. Noa revealed, “Part of that divorce was Diddy’s fault.”

“When Sony came and paid her the millions she got, there was Puffy [Combs], who was going to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album ‘On The 6,’” he told the Spanish outlet. “That’s where the deception, the lies, the separation started.”
“I was in Los Angeles opening my restaurant and she was between Miami and New York working on the album. When I could, I would go to be with her. There, in that distance, in that separation, was where the deception started,” he added.
Later, Noa said that the couple’s split turned ugly when Lopez began to sabotage his career.
“I would ask Jennifer, ‘What did I do to you so that you have taken me to court, you have accused me, you have lied, you have created false things about me and you have called several companies to throw me out and different television networks not to give me work?’”
After her split with Noa, JLo went on to date Diddy from 1999 until 2001. Her name has now come up as part of Diddy’s scandal following the music mogul’s arrest. Diddy is currently behind bars awaiting trial after being charged with sexual misconduct crimes.
Earlier this month, Noa took to his Instagram account to speak out on Diddy, as well as Lopez’s connection to his parties.

“To those people and media outlets asking if I ever went or participated in that Piece of Sh– (DIDDY’S) Freak-Off Parties. No and No. Never. But my Ex-Wife (Jennifer Lopez) a.k.a (JLO) Did.. Ask Her. Oh and ask her about the SEX TAPES, And The BABY OIL,” he wrote alongside a photo of celebrities who were on Diddy’s party guest list.
All of the drama has had fans questioning what JLo may know about Diddy’s alleged criminal activity and if it may have caused problems between the singer and Ben Affleck.
“I believe Diddy is one of the reasons Ben Affleck is divorcing her,” one person commented.
“Sorry, Ojani. I’m no Diddy fan but your marriage to JLO never stood a chance with or without Diddy in the picture. And its not you, its HER. SHE is the problem. Her dating/marriage history proves this,” another wrote.
“Oh everybody getting their 15,” a third person stated.
“This tell-all interview isn’t that shocking. I think fans could have guessed all of this from the jump,” a fourth comment read.
Jennifer Lopez has stayed quiet about her connection to Diddy following his arrest. However, it seems that Ojani Noa doesn’t mind sharing his thoughts on the matter decades after their divorce.
