Jennifer Lopez is facing backlash over her style she steps out for a bite to eat with teenage son, Max. The singer, 55, is fresh from making headlines for endorsing Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, and she enjoyed some downtime this weekend while hitting up celebrity-adored restaurant Nobu in L.A.
Looking stylish as she put on a perky display in a skintight top, JLo appeared to be wearing very little beneath her figure-hugging outfit, one quickly raising eyebrows on The Daily Mail. While some commented on son Max’s appearance, others went right for the Atlas star’s outfit. A popular comment shamed the songstress for her look, even saying that it wasn’t appropriate for a mom to be wearing “with” her teen. Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. In August, she made global headlines for ending her fourth marriage to Ben Affleck, 52.
Jennifer Lopez Shows Off Lunch Style With Teenage Son
Channeling fall vibes in tailored striped pants, JLo highlighted her curves in a skintight white turtleneck. Displaying her incredible waistline as she went baggy in her pocketed slacks, the pop singer proved she’s always a style queen, although her dirty jeans look last week didn’t go down too well.
Wearing her hair clipped back in a loose bun, Lopez added glam shades for her family outing, also sporting a matte layer of makeup complete with powder and blush. Opting out of carrying an expensive purse, the “Jenny From The Block” hitmaker appeared in good spirits, with son Max wearing checkered baggy pants and a pink sweatshirt.
Fans have been ripping JLo apart ever since rumors of her now-ended marriage to Ben Affleck began swirling this summer. It doesn’t look like they’ve given up on shaming her.
Questioned Over Clingy Look With Her Son
Shading Jen, one fan gained over 200 upvotes for asking “why” Lopez chose to dress herself like that “when going out with her teenage son. It seems she doesn’t care about her children, only herself,” they wrote.
“J-ello never fails to embarrass herself,” another added, giving no basis for their hurtful comment. Also picking up on the outfit, a third said: “If that were my mother or granny, I’d make her wear a coat. Imagine the embarrassment they feel her at 55 displaying her starter buttons.”
JLo appears to be trying her best to bounce back from her shock divorce announcement. While the singer canceled her summer tour to prioritize her family, she’s now reported to be plotting a major music comeback in 2025. She wore a likewise tight top-and-pants look at the end of last month when she was photographed heading into a recording studio in L.A.
