The couple looked at home in each other’s presence and were joined by other family members for the big occasion. The Irresistible singer stole the spotlight in a sultry silk pink dress with a thigh-high slit that put her toned legs on display. She donned a colorful maxi kimono jacket with fringe details over the gown with a pair of animal print boots. Simpson accessorized with a giant handbag, aviator sunglasses, and several silver jewelry pieces. Johnson, on the other hand, opted for a more casual look, comprising a black hoodie and pants.
Despite the rumors of a divorce, the lovebirds seemed affectionate during their daughter’s big day. At one point, while heading to the car, the former NFL player could be seen holding Simpson’s hand while carrying her bag in one hand.

An insider told Page Six that for a while, the former tight end has been the only one present at school events. “In years past, Jess always attended events at the school either solo or with Eric. Never Eric alone. But recently, it’s just been Eric,” the source explained. “As you can imagine, there’s been a lot of gossip among the parents.”
Although the Blonde Ambition actress has put the gossip to rest, questions still arise about a recent cryptic post she shared. Just a day before stepping out with Johnson, Simpson alluded to being a single. Sharing another ringless photo on Instagram, the 44-year-old wrote in the accompanying caption:

Back in September, when Johnson turned 45, Simpson, instead of celebrating him, shared a cryptic message about forgiveness. “Forgiveness doesn’t change the person who hurt you. Are you listening to me? Forgiveness doesn’t change that person,” the message read.
No one truly knows the state of Simpson and Johnson’s marriage, especially with the mixed signals being given. However, a joint family outing can be taken as a positive sign.
