The blonde bombshell set tongues a wagging Monday after three months after celebrating her 10th anniversary with Eric Johnson. While normally being out without your spouse is not always cause for alarm, fans couldn’t help but notice a few things that seemed very off about Jessica.
Several reports have mentioned noticeable tension growing between Eric Johnson and Jessica Simpson over the past several months. Even so, a marital rough patch doesn’t necessarily spell divorce. But in Hollywood, celebrities in public without their wedding rings are usually a huge red flag.

As if a bare ring finger isn’t enough to kick up divorce rumors, there is more. The Daily Mail reports that Jessica Simpson was last seen with her husband, Eric Johnson, in June for their daughter Birdie’s kindergarten graduation. Momma Jess was ringless during the family-oriented public celebration, raising many suspicions.
Fans are starting to raise a lot of questions. Eric was also noticeably missing from Jessica’s back-to-school photo shoot with her three children. Last but not least, she also seemingly snubbed Eric Johnson on his 45th birthday in September.
As far as celebrity fans are concerned, all signs point to divorce for Eric and Jessica. According to her followers, she has lost a significant amount of weight (too much). They claim Jessica Simpson is looking rough around the edges, and the tension and stress of her alleged failing marriage and potential second divorce is taking a toll on her.
“Jessica is looking rough. She always slurs when she speaks. She must be on strong medication,” suggests one commenter.
So far, neither Eric Johnson nor Jessica Simpson’s reps have spoken out about the split rumors. However, her fans claim that something feels very off about the singer these days.
