Judge Dredd: The Megazine will be having its 25th anniversary this week. The publication is celebrating with special cover art drawn by Barry Kitson. The well-known artist has worked on major comics from both Marvel and DC. This is the first time Kitson has drawn for the comic magazine since 1992.
The cover features more than two dozen of Judge Dredd’s villains, with the names Wagner and Grant in the background, paying homage to Alan Grant and John Wanger two of the most prolific writers of Judge Dredd comics.
Judge Dredd: The Megazine is a monthly British comic magazine, the first issue released in October 1990. It is a sister publication to 2000 AD. Its name is a play on words, formed from “magazine” and Dredd’s locale Mega-City One.
Judge Dredd Megazine #365 will go on sale Wednesday, October 21st. It will be available for purchase from the 2000 AD webshop, and the 2000 AD apps for iOS and Android devices.
