Following the exit of Tyra Banks as the co-host of Dancing with the Stars, Variety has reported that Julianne Hough will replace her as the co-host of DWTS for season 32. She will be joined by returning co-host Alfonso Ribeiro. Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough remain as judges. Len Goodman left last season.
Speculation has been going on about whether or not Tyra Banks would be replaced as co-host of DWTS well before her exit and Julianne Hough taking on the job. Between some mistakes and saying things that fans disliked, people had been wondering if her position would last. She first joined on season 29, which saw her replace Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron. The America’s Funniest Home Videos host joined her last season.
Julianne Hough taking on the co-host job for DWTS brings her back to the reality series. She was a dancer from 2007 to 2009, which saw her dance with Apolo Anton Ohno and Hélio Castroneves. She was a judge from 2014 to 2017, then returned in 2021.

Dancing runs in the family as her brother, Derek Hough, has been a dancer in the series. He was seen hitting the stage between 2007 to 2016, which saw him break the record for winning six times. He then returned in 2020 to judge.
On top of her Emmy-winning time on DWTS, Julianne Hough has done a lot in her career alongside her upcoming gig as the co-host of DWTS. She has starred in films like Footloose, Rock of Ages, and Dirty Grandpa.
Dancing with the Stars has been in a new era for both longtime fans and newcomers. First, it came to Disney Plus, resulting in a slightly altered format due to it no longer having commercials. Also, COVID protocols needed to be in place, especially as contestants and crew members got sick early on in the last season.
