Every single month, Nintendo adds a few new titles to their NES Online service, and July is no different. This month, Nintendo Switch owners who pay for their monthly subscription of Nintendo Online will gain access to Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecking Crew. In addition, a previously added title will be getting a small upgrade. Mighty Bomb Jack’s new version will allow you to see the four different endings without achieving all the tasks necessary to trigger them.

This may seem like a lackluster month for Nintendo Online, but there is a lot to love here. Donkey Kong 3 is an undeniably addicting little game. It might not be the classic Donkey Kong you know and love, but it’s definitely worth checking out for its upward shooting mechanics. As for Wrecking Crew, this semi beloved game is nothing more than a decent time waster. If you are someone who enjoys’s meticulously clearing a screen, this game’s going to be right up your ally.

In addition to this month’s new games, Nintendo has very graciously added a new feature across every NES Online game. The feature is called “Rewind” and as you can assume, let’s you rewind after you die or lose and set you right back before your untimely end. NES games are undeniably tough by modern standards so this will be a feature used and enjoyed by many.

Nintendo Switch Online continues to become more and more enticing as the months go on. At a cheap price of $20 a year to gain access to a full suite of NES titles, access to online multiplayer and additional titles like the stellar Tetris 99, now seems like a great time to jump in! And if that’s not enough, rumors have been circulating about adding other classic Nintendo titles from different generations to their monthly offerings!
