Justin and Hailey Bieber are officially the latest parents in town! Just three months after announcing their unexpected pregnancy to the world, the lovebirds welcomed their first child, a boy. However, the Peaches singer veered from the usual Hollywood practice to give his bundle of joy a sentimental family name.
After weeks of speculation that Hailey has put to bed, Justin confirmed the thrilling news on Friday with the first photo of his son. The Canadian heartthrob posted a picture of his wifeโs finger cradling their newborn’s foot. In the accompanying caption, Justin revealed the unique name he and Hailey chose for their son. โWELCOME HOME. JACK BLUES BIEBER,โ he wrote. Ever one to keep things private, the couple hasnโt revealed their sonโs face. There is also no information on exactly when Jack Blues arrived. It, however, seems the little one is now home with Mom and Dad. Recall that the Biebers broke the internet in May when they debuted Haileyโs bump with photos from an intimate vow renewal ceremony. At the time, the Rhode founder was almost six months along. She later explained her decision to keep her pregnancy secret in an interview with W! Magazine, saying:
“I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time. I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it.”
The famous model noted that she didn’t hide her pregnancy all the way because she wanted to enjoy it outwardly. “I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good,” she confessed. “I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”

Following Justinโs announcement, Beliebers went haywire online, sharing their thoughts on their idolโs sonโs name. “I’m sorry, but Jack Blues Bieber is such an iconic name. Very demure, very mindful, very cutesy,” gushed one fan. Another wrote, “idk about everyone else, but Jack Blues Bieber is a cute ass name idc. Hailey and Justin Bieber really are parents wishing them the best.” A third comment defending the little one’s moniker read:
“[I] Better not see one person speak badly on Hailey and Justin Bieber for the name they chose for their baby. Jack Blues Bieber is actually so freaking cute, and yaโll better back off.”
Some fans, however, noticed how the singer and his wife honored his family roots with their son’s name. โJustin Bieber kept the tradition of naming the Biebers from J. I’m crying,โ one fan expressed. The pop starโs father is named Jeremy Bieber, while his two half-siblings from his fatherโs side are named Jazmy, 16,ย and Jaxon, 14. All the initials of their names read J.B.
