The source claims that Timberlake has a serious drinking problem and has for several years. Although he did attempt to cut back, he allegedly has people around him that enable his bad habit.
“It’s not a secret. Everyone knows,” a music insider told the outlet. “He has a real drinking problem, a lot of weed — but a major alcohol problem, and he’s been hiding and masking it for years. It’s a real thing, and when you have a drinking problem, it’s apparent, yet they’ve pushed this tour on him, and he’s been a very dark place,” the source added.
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Justin Timberlake and his lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., are ready to fight his DWI charges. Burke Jr. recently released a statement claiming that the singer will have plenty to say on the matter when the time is right. Of course, fans will certainly be all ears whenever that does happen.
