Kanye West raps, “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.” in his new song, Lifestyle Demo. As reported by Life and Style Magazine, “Taylor” most likely refers to Taylor Swift and West actually name-drops Travis Kelce.
Kanye West Takes a Shot at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
While Taylor and Travis have yet to publicly recognize the lyrics, the Swifties think they found how Swift fired back. Throughout Swift’s Eras Tour, the singer has worn different shirts. During the August 3rd show, Taylor’s shirt read, “I bet you think about me.”
Taylor Swift and Kanye West began their beef back in 2009 when West interrupted her speech at the MTV Music Awards. Tayor had won Artist of the Year, but Kanye stole her microphone and went on a rant about Beyonce’s music video. However, the two seemingly squashed their beef after Kanye called Swift and offered his sincere apology.
Although that was short-lived as in 2016, Kanye West released his song “Famous,” where she rapped about how he made Taylor Swift famous. It was then that Kim Kardashian backed up her husband’s statements about how he made Swift famous.
Now, in 2024, it seems like Kanye West is back at it again. Will Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce make a public statement about these new lyrics? Or will the happy couple just let it go? Only time will tell, as this could be the beginning of yet another Swift vs. West beef.
