Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend Julia Fox was famous before her relationship with the Praise God rapper. But since their brief coupling she appears to be known by a wider audience. Rather than shy away from the label (which refers to celebrities who have benefited from their parents’ careers) she has leaned into it. Even claiming that her son is a nepo baby.
Julia Fox Talks About Her Nepo Baby
Julia Fox is a mother to one child. She shares her son Valentino with her ex, Peter Artemiev. In a recent chat with Variety, Fox commented on the nepo baby debate. “I feel like by [hiding your kids] it’s almost like a disservice,” she said.
“It’s like I have this very highly coveted thing, I want to share that with my son,” she added. “We need him to be a nepo baby. And he needs to, like, own it, too. He can’t be like, ‘I’m not really a nepo baby,’ he needs to be like, ‘Yes I’m a nepo baby, and what?’”
In the same interview, she spoke about not needing a nanny and how she takes on much of the childcare herself. She also lives with her best friend and her boyfriend, who plays a significant role in raising Valentino.
Fox referred to him as “a really good example of masculinity.” She continued, “He’s very comfortable in his masculinity and is definitely the best role model I could have ever chosen for Valentino, because I don’t want him to grow up aggressively macho like some other men in his vicinity are.”
Julia Fox is often referred to as Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend but she is more than that label. She has been celebrated for her unique fashion and beauty sense and has starred in several films, including the 2019 movie, Uncut Gems (which also stars Adam Sandler). She has worked hard to get where she is, and she is not going to let anyone take that away from her.
