There are plenty of Karens out there. I don’t know why, but it’s their mission to make the lives of everyone around them miserable. I’ve realized that it doesn’t matter what a person could be doing; you can almost always count on a Karen to try and ruin everything. Fortunately, in the age of phone cameras, we can also record when people begin acting aggressively toward others on the sidewalk. We can also post them to Twitter for the world to make fun of.
The video is from the point of view of a phone camera resting against something, facing a sidewalk and a busy street. The woman who placed the camera then steps back to show off her outfit. Then, unprompted, an older Karen, walking behind her, decides to comment. Another girl off-camera chose to defend her friend and curse at the Karen, prompting a real altercation.
You can then see the older woman approach the girl who was recording herself on the sidewalk, trying to provoke her with violence. There are even points during the debacle where she actually takes a few swings but misses. She continues to be aggressive and trying to provoke the girls into hitting her. Eventually, she decides to walk away while the girls continue to curse at her and call her old, rightfully so. The replies to the video were filled with users criticizing the woman’s actions.

Others commented on the fact that because she’s old, she was probably just jealous. Realistically, that’s the only thing that makes sense because I don’t see why she would need to be so upset. I mean, she started it.

Hopefully, neither of the girls was injured by the Karen. I also hope that she is found and apprehended, especially since the internet is the last place you want to be when you’re accosting someone.
