The Real Housewives of Potomac returns to Bravo on Sunday, October 6. But before their premiere, the show’s star, Karen Huger, stopped by E! News to let her hair down for a bit. She spoke with Justin Sylvester about all things Bravo, including Potomac’s epic ninth season. The reality star also made an interesting comment about which Housewives iteration she’d like to join briefly if given the chance.
As a veteran Housewife, Karen has been asked this question several times before. This time, she said her answer recently “changed” before revealing she’d join “Salt Lake City.” The crew of Park City, Utah, girls definitely have a different vibe from that of her besties in Maryland; however, Karen’s visit would be for a specific reason. “They need me,” she said. “Yes, they need me.”
And if anybody thought Karen, who’s been on Bravo since 2017, would be feuding with RHOSLC’s Mary Cosby, they’d better think again. According to Karen, Mary “would be my sidekick.”

Elsewhere in Karen Huger’s interview with E!, the Bravo staple revealed who her favorite Real Housewives star is.
“NeNe [Leakes],” she said. “She’s the truth.” However, Karen noted the two of them on the same show would not be good. “You don’t want us to get on screen,” she said. “I love you, NeNe, but no—we’re too much. We’d burn the camera down electrically.”
Season 9 of the Real Housewives of Potomac will air on Bravo in the coming days, and based on the trailer, it’ll be all about Karen.
In March 2024, the reality star was arrested in Maryland for driving under the influence. She told TMZ in a statement that she thanked the fans for their “prayers and well wishes during this very frightening experience.”
“I am still in shock from last night’s incident, but grateful to be alive today.”
In the season sneak peek, it’s clear that Karen’s co-stars plan on holding her feet to the fire. During one clip, Ashley Darby reiterated the seriousness of the issue, telling Karen she could’ve taken someone’s life. Mia Thornton also had something to say, slamming her for allegedly being “a drunk” who rammed her “car into trees.”
