The viral video in question shows two women getting into it at a sports game. Things seem to go south after one woman cheers for the away team. That’s when another fan, apparently rooting for the home side, lashes out and grabs her by the hair, right there in the stands.
In the video, you can hear the Karen yelling what sounds like, “This is my *expletive* house,” which set off a wave of jokes and criticism online. People jumped on that phrase, especially since she was in a public stadium, and started calling her “Karen” all over social media. The whole idea of someone claiming a stadium like it’s their living room just made it even easier for folks to poke fun at her.

Someone else went after her for acting out, saying, “Literally never out grew the three year old angsty impulses. No plan just pure toddler rage.” That one seemed to hit a nerve, since a lot of online spectators agreed her outburst was way over the top.
